Arrival

• The most practical airport is in Helsinki. From there, take a local train to Tikkurila Station.
  • The local train departs from the airport train station.
• From Tikkurila, take a train to Tampere. The journey takes approximately 1–2 hours.

Accommodation

There are plenty of hotel options in Tampere.

• City Centre: For easy transportation, we recommend staying close to the Tampere railway station, from where the tram takes you to the course venues.
• Hospital Area: Norlandia Tampere is located right next to the course venues.

Travel Within the City

• The easiest way to reach the hospital area from the city centre is by Tram 1.
  • Take Tram 1 from the city centre and exit at Kaupin kampus station.
  • The journey takes about 15–20 minutes.
• Norlandia Hotel is located right next to the course venues, eliminating the need for additional transportation.

Program

• The course program can be found on the official homepage.
• Lectures on Wednesday, April 21 are held at the Finn-Medi 5 lecture hall (Biokatu 12) and the cadaver laboratory on Thursday, April 22 at the Tampere Surgical Education Centre (O-Building, Arkkiatrinkuja 6).
• Course Dinner:
  • Wednesday, April 21 (included in the course fee).
  • A great opportunity to network and socialize.
